Physeter Macrocephalus Sperm Whale New Zealand

The scientific name for sperm whales is Physeter macrocephalus. They are a species of large toothed whale commonly seen off the coast of Kaikoura in New Zealand.

One of the main tourist attractions in the town of Kaikoura in the South Island of New Zealand is a tour to see the Sperm Whales also known as Physeter macrocephalus.
