On a warm, summer day near Auckland, New Zealand, a mass of people rush to Piha Beach to enjoy the famous surf which washes up along this coastline. Most people love to surf here as the beach has an incredible reputation, but others bring their boards or just prefer to splash around in the waves.

Piha Beach is located on the West Coast of Auckland and many locals come here to get away from the busy city life and enjoy this wet playground. Surrounding Piha Beach is the forested Waitakere Ranges where land lovers can walk or hike through the area on a selection of trails which range from easy to difficult.
