From the shores of the Wairarapa coastline in the small town of Castlepoint on the North Island of New Zealand, the sky becomes a picture of beauty at sunset. The few clouds scattered above the Pacific Ocean are illuminated from the lighting at sunset while the horizon becomes a soft tone of yellow.
Standing at the Castlepoint Lighthouse, allows visitors one of the best scenic views of the coastline as the cliffs rise high above the ocean allowing one to see for miles. Approximately 1,600 people reside in Castlepoint, a quiet, tranquil beachside town throughout the year, but when summer approaches, Castlepoint brings in crowds of people to this luxury and scenic region of New Zealand.
During the sunset hours on this particular day, the ocean remains calm as the lighting reflects off the surface enhancing its beauty.
