As the wind gently blows across the landscape of Southland, New Zealand, the vibrant yellow flower heads on the Torch Lily plants dance amongst themselves. The tube shaped yellow flowers blossom in clusters along the Catlins Highway in Southland, New Zealand while in other areas, the variations of Torch Lilies can blossom with red or orange flowers.
Full sunlight is what the Torch Lily thrives on along with soil which drains well as they grow upwards to two and three feet tall, some reaching 5 feet. The entire patch of Torch Lilies can cover an area anywhere between one to two and a half feet across.
