A man who has been sheep shearing for years performs a demonstration at the Agrodome in Rotorua on the North Island of New Zealand. The sheep shearing demonstration takes place three times a day during the one hour Agrodome performance alongside the breeds of sheep being shown, cow milking, bottle feeding lambs and a sheep auction.

The sheep shearing takes place in a shearing shed where people can see a wide range of grinders, wool presses and shearing equipment used during the 1950's. These demonstrations are designed to honor the people who made New Zealand famous for the wool growing, all which continues today.

The sheep shearing demonstration is one of the many activities taking place at the Agrodome in Rotorua, New Zealand and this is a place everyone should stop to see while visiting New Zealand. There are also fun, interactive and hands-on experiences with the farming industry, a greet and meet the animals and taking part in activities with the sheep. The Agrodome is open 365 days a year from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m with the adventure activities closing on Christmas Day.
