The rugged coastline at Cape Palliser in Wairarapa, NZ is often pummeled by storms which take over these waters but on this particular day, the coastline is barely altered by the gentle, breaking waves. The sky above the jagged hills of Cape Palliser, towering above the winding coastal road, is illuminated by the soft hues at sunset.
The rocks scattered along this coastline, emerge from the depths of the water at low tide leaving more areas for the water to work around on its way back in. The Cook Strait can be an extremely dangerous waterway as this is where the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea unite.
Cape Palliser in Wairarapa on the North Island of NZ, is a stunning place to watch a sunset end another day, view the colony of fur seals lounging on the rocks or explore the cliffs where the Cape Palliser Lighthouse stands.
