The rainforest flora thrives on either side of the boardwalk which roams through the Waipoua Forest in Northland on the North Island of New Zealand. Following this boardwalk, visitors will find themselves amongst some of the largest Kauri Trees found throughout New Zealand.
Tane Mahuta, the largest living Kauri Tree in the Waipoua Forest, is the first tree of magnificent beauty which visitors will find along this boardwalk with the next tree being the Te Matua. Farther along, a group of four trees known as the Four Sisters decorates the forest with the last set being the Yakas Kauri.
The entire Waipoua Forest in Northland, New Zealand is stunning, but the four groups of Kauri Trees mentioned above are amazing to see throughout this rainforest.
