The Queen Charlotte Sound is a popular location for sailing and kayaking where you can explore the hidden regions which are only accessible by boat. Many people enjoy hiking on the Queen Charlotte Track which stretches between the two sounds, the Queen Charlotte and Keneperu. The track runs for 71 kilometers through native bush where you can view the stunning scenery and see various species of wildlife.
