Beautiful yellow hues at sunset fill the sky above the Otago Peninsula on the South Island of New Zealand where the ocean waves show their fury against the rugged coastline.
The Otago Peninsula, an indented stretch of land which makes up the easternmost part of Dunedin, runs parallel to the mainland for approximately 30 kilometers. At the southwest end, the Otago Peninsula joins the mainland. A good portion of the Otago Peninsula landscape is made up of freehold farming with small holdings or blocks of homes being built and increasing.
Along the beach or atop the rocky cliffs on the Otago Peninsula, New Zealand, the scenery is picturesque, especially at sunset when the sky is aglow in bright hues and a storm begins to brew stirring up the ocean creating some large, rolling waves.
