A safety belt is used along with leg straps and the person sailing must steer the Blokart with one hand while keeping the other hand on the sheet rope. A helmet, gloves and eye protection are the only pieces of safety equipment needed for land sailing and the more wind sweeping in off the water, the faster the trip along the beach will be.
