Beyond the cloud formations which slowly take over the sky above South Bay and the Kaikoura coast off the South Island of NZ, blue sky can still be seen in patches. The sunset lighting filters through the dark, storm looking clouds bringing out different shades of yellow and pink.
The cliffs overlooking the tranquil water which is glistening in the sunset lighting, are blanketed in a lush, green grass, the ideal spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. The cloud formations allow ones mind to wander, creating different patterns which constantly change as the clouds continue to roll in bringing with them the threat of a storm along these coastal shores.
Sperm Whales are another visitor seen in South Bay where they explore the deep canyon area making these cliffs a prime location for sunsets and whale watching.
