An orchard near Roxburgh in Central Otago, New Zealand has just been reaped of its fresh apricots and crates of vibrant colors of red, yellow and orange explode in this picture. Roxburgh is one of the main regions on the South Island of New Zealand which produces a majority of the yearly crops of fresh apricots.
The red coloring on these apricots is the side which received the most sunlight while hanging off the trees and they are now ready to be shipped out to local consumers. Nothing taste better than a ripe apricot which has been able to ripen to its fullest and this orchard is full of them.
