The red and white tower of the Cape Palliser Lighthouse stands at 18 metres high and 78 metres above Sea Level in the Wairarapa district on the North Island of NZ.

Situated on the south east corner of the North Island in the Wairarapa, the Cape Palliser Lighthouse which operated by burning oil was first lit on October 27, 1897.
