Guards Bay in Titirangi Bay in Marlborough, NZ is one of the most pristine regions around the South Island and during the summer months, the coastline comes alive in bright purple hues. The wildflowers known as Foxglove flowers blossom on the lush green hillsides as the beautiful colors of Marlborough Sounds glistens in the sunlight.
The tubular shaped flowers are aligned around the tall stems, some which reach 2 meters in height and cluster together at the top of the plant. The Foxglove wildflowers around Guards Bay are purple in colour but other ones can blossom in pink, white and yellow hues.
