The Carino, a 50 foot catamaran, takes passengers on daily excursions around the Bay of Islands off the North Island of New Zealand which includes a barbecue lunch. The crew prepares lunch at the stern of the Carino while the passengers sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery while anchored at Motuarohia (Roberton) Island in the Bay of Islands.
There are various types of day sailing trips available on this catamaran, some which include relaxation, setting and trimming the sails, scanning the water for penguins and other ocean birds, swimming with the dolphins and learning about their environment and behavior. Others include snorkeling in pristine coves and hikes around different islands or enjoy a sunset sailing adventure where the scenery in the Bay of Islands is spectacular.
The day trips include a kiwi styled barbecue lunch while the evening cruise serves cheese, spreads and light refreshments.
