The Alpine Pacific Triangle Route in Canterbury on the South Island of NZ will take one past beautiful farmland and country landscapes, rural towns and some amazing scenery. In this area of the Alpine Pacific Triangle Route, bales of hay remain scattered across the farmland waiting to be moved to their next destination.
Passing through three towns, Waipara, Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura, one can enjoy wine and food in one town, relaxation and spas in another and the marine world which resides around the coastal shores of NZ in the last location. The farmlands are situated between these three places with the entire journey being 370 kilometers in length.
